ClipKeeper Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 26, 2026

ClipKeeper is an on-device productivity app for saving and reusing text, links, codes, and shared images.

Information ClipKeeper Handles

ClipKeeper may handle information you choose to save in the app, including typed notes, clipboard text, links, codes, and images shared from other apps.

How Information Is Used

Saved items are used to show your saved clipboard items, support local search, let you copy saved text back to the clipboard, and let you share saved text or images to other apps when you choose to do so.

Local Storage and Encryption

ClipKeeper stores saved items on your device. Saved text and image data are encrypted locally using AES-GCM with keys backed by Android Keystore. The app does not require an account, and Android cloud backup is disabled for the app.

ClipKeeper also stores local app metadata, such as item type, saved time, favorite or pinned state, and related local file information, so the app can organize and display saved items.

Data Collection and Sharing

ClipKeeper does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer. The app does not include ads, analytics, tracking SDKs, or internet access.

Saved items leave your device only when you choose to use Android features such as copy, paste, or share to send them to another app or service.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual saved items in ClipKeeper, clear saved items in the app, clear the app's local data through Android settings, or uninstall the app to remove its local app data from your device.

Permissions

ClipKeeper can receive text and image shares from other apps. It does not request internet access.
